Dr. Robin Armstrong

Doctor of Chiropractic
Bachelor of Arts, Kinesiology
200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher
Certified Active Release Technique® (A.R.T) provider

Dr. Robin Armstrong has been involved in the health and wellness industry for over 12 years. Growing up in Ottawa, she played every sport she could get her hands on from rugby, to dance, to synchronized swimming. Robin’s love of volleyball lead her to play for the University of Western Ontario, where she also studied Kinesiology. Unfortunately, a serious shoulder injury ended her volleyball career, but taught her the value of preventative medicine, and the importance of recognizing imbalances in the body before they result in injury. Robin went on to complete the four-year chiropractic program at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. It is here that Robin took her study of yoga to the next level, and completed a 250-hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher-training program at The Yoga Sanctuary in Ashtanga vinyasa yoga.

Beyond helping people through chiropractic, Robin has another passion in life – yoga. Her 9 year background in Ashtanga yoga, continuing education in pre and postnatal yoga, and continuing her studies with renowned teachers in North America and India, have further enhanced her understanding of the human body and the importance of movement to health.

In her free time Robin enjoys exploring different styles of yoga, reading, tap dancing, speaking and writing about health, travel, trail running, hiking, and just getting outside.
